have a problem with air brakes on big truck has new compressor has new air chambers has air to pedal and 80 ps
chambers do not compress brakes to drum
You know air pressure is released to apply the brakes look for a clogged vent filter at the brake pedal vent valve or something stopping the air from being released. pressure has to come up to move and that red knob emergecy brake just releases all the air all the chambers lever the brake cams turn and shoes hit the drums. Semi tractor trailer brakes are very simple that is why they can stop 75,000 lbs from 70 mph so fast.
